French easy bread with no kneading

An easy bread recipe that needs no kneading
  • 310 ml of warm water
  • 70 ml of milk (I used low fat one)
  • 1 Tsp of salt
  • 1 Tsp of sugar
  • 500 g of flour
  • 1½ Tsp of baker's dry yeast
  1. Melt the yeast into the warm water
  2. Add the milk, sugar, 450 gr of flour and salt.
  3. Mix using a wood spoon.
  4. Put the dough inside a bowl, pour the remaining flour above, cover with a kitchen towel and let it rest for 1:30 hour.
  5. Turn on the oven to 240°C/460°F with no fan and put a small bowl with water inside.
  6. Pour the (sticky) dough onto a floured surface and, adding more flour, divide the dough in 12 pieces.
  7. Add some seeds (as I did) or just flour the small bread pieces, giving it a round shape.
  8. Place them on a pan covered with parchment paper and bake for 20/25 minutes.
